Personality:
All About Me: It is all about him; what he says goes. he will go through a lot of trouble to keep it this way too.
Querk 1: When he sees you he will pin his ears back, snap at air, shake his head, and pound on the stall guard or door keeping him from a treat. but as soon as the treat is in his mouth the ears go forward.
Querk 2: Has to lead a trail ride group- try putting him in the back and he will bolt.
Querk 3: has mixed opinions of water. he hates getting in water to go for a swim, but splashes around in it once you get him in it. Be careful though he doesn't go down and role int he water though.
Grooming Querks: hates you touching his girth area and under he stomach. He hates you washing his face with water but loves a good face curry. on cross-ties he knows how to unclip himself so you have to clip the things up by his eyes so he doesn't get loose.
Health Issues: Has super sensitive skin. he will get wither and chest rubs from blankets in the winter. if you are riding on sand you have to wrap up his front heels with vet wrap[those is fine to not when showing. He is allergic to Aloe and Poultice. if you put anything on his legs that he is allergic too the swell badly, hair falls off and the back part cracks.
Worst Fear/Spook: [link] (he is fine with those jumps till you put flowers coming out of the hole. If you seen a box like that with flowers out of the opening you better scratch) and nothing. He spooks at random things or nothing at all.
Herd Mentality: Leader.
Horse vs. Owner/Handler/Rider: he is great at teaching, because he can be in charge. But if you are training good luck, he will fight to the death to not do what you ask. Though he will rarely throw you in his battle- he does have a ethical sense to him. Over jumps he only stops if something isn't safe or if you leave the left side open- in that case he just goes around a stride before take off. on the right lead he drifts heavily left. he is hard to get on the bridle but once you get that for the rest of the ride he will go on the bridle with a small feel of the mouth.
Favorit Treat: 1st Pears 2nd Bananas.
